Gary has done guitar/songwriting workshops in 35 states and 5 Canadian Provinces. He hopes to cover all of them in the coming years. His instructional videos have been sold on every continent.

"Guitar for Songwriters" includes basic rhythms, chord progressions, color chords, connecting chords, your capo and tuner, alternate tunings, walkups, walk downs, the "free finger" theory, the number system, finger picking.

"Basic Songwriting" includes song form, melody writing, lyric writing, harmonic choices, elements of style, prosody, song pitching, demoing, song critiques, etc.

"How to be a studio guitar player" includes chart reading, tuning, equipment, social skills, "less is more", 

accompanying vocals, studio etiquette, etc.

"Guitar for Beginners" includes choosing the right guitar, types of guitar, parts of a guitar, names of the strings, making chords, using a pick, getting your guitar in tune, changing strings, basic rhythms, which chords go together, playing simple songs, etc.
